Came here for lunch today and food was delicious. Being half Filipino and growing up in Daly City, I know great Filipino food. Max's is always a good choice. The bangus sisig was flavorful and although it was fish, it did not have a strong fishy flavor. The diced jalapeño and onions were cooked to perfection. The lechon kawali was also delicious, as it was hot and crunchy. I am not the biggest lechon kawali eater, but this dish is pretty solid. We also ordered a side of garlic rice. You can't go wrong with garlic rice! Strong garlic flavor here, unlike a lot of other places in the area. The service was a little slower than I would like but I won't take off a star for that, only because you can tell the employees are working very hard and there was only a couple of them tending to a handful of tables and probably a ton of takeout orders. Not their fault. They were also kind and polite. The prices are not bad either. We will be back!

I love Pancit Palabok. Since I look Filipino I eat Filipino food. lol. The Lechon is perfect and crispy. The Shanghai Lumpia is so good, cuz I'm Shanghainese. All kidding aside this is my got to for the best Filipino cuisine.

We come here when we're craving Filipino food, the food is delicious! Love the pancit & lumpia. Chicken is pretty good too! Service is good and decor is informative on the origins of Max's.

Easily one of my favorite Filipino restaurants around the area. The food is always top notch. My personal favorites are the chicken adobo, crispy chicken, garlic rice, kare kare, and sinigang! Then for dessert--halo halo! They even have a house special drink which is calamansi mixed with raspberry. The dishes are excellent and the service is absolutely wonderful. The staff always make me feel right at home. During our recent visit, the staff was super accommodating for our party of 10. You can make reservations for parties of 6 and up. Sa susunod ulit!
